Terms and Conditions
The terms of the non-exclusive data licensing provisions and the conditions under which you are permitted to use these product(s) are set out below.
Before you use the data service(s), you will need to read this Agreement.
The product(s) will be supplied to you via the GasMattersOnline website.

We will provide you with a username and password for the number of users as agreed in your subscription to GasMattersOnline.
In order to issue the usernames we will require the name, job title, e-mail address and contact number for each of the users, which can be done online.
Only registered users may access the products. Usernames and passwords must not be passed to any other person inside or outside your organisation.
Use of the product(s)
In purchasing the data service(s) Gas Matters, the parent of GasMattersOnline grants you a non-exclusive license to use the data derived from the services internally in your organisation. However, save as expressly permitted below, the provision of this data service does not entitle you to freely distribute any contents. The contents of the service may be distributed and copied electronically between parties who have a licence with Gas Matters. Printing of any part of the product(s) is restricted to the printing of material as required during the normal processes and conduct of research. The printing of multiple copies for subsequent distribution to other parties is not permitted, except with the express written permission of GasMattersOnline. Should you wish to use extracts of the product(s) from GasMattersOnline for internal or external distribution we require suitable attribution to be given to GasMattersOnline. For example, if you wish to use a data series, graph or map from one of the products in a presentation or report you must annotate the information “Source: www.gas-matters.com”
GasMattersOnline products are accessed using the GasMattersOnline website using the username and password provided by GasMattersOnline.

Users can either use the data online or download the files to their own computer. Data should not be saved on multi access networks in any way that it can be used by non-registered users. If the data is downloaded onto or subsequently stored on multi access, intranet or internet-enabled networks it must be secured by password protection for the exclusive use of licensed users with access denied to all others.
GasMattersOnline are confident that services will work adequately on most types of modern, PC-based, computing systems, running Windows operating systems. Please let us know either if you have difficulties in using any of the products, or if you have suggestions for future improvements.
Under the terms of this licence, you also agree not to reverse engineer, modify, disassemble, translate, or in any way tamper with, or use, except as described in this agreement, the code used in the software product.

Disclaimer
- a) Data
While every effort has been made to ensure that the data contained in GasMattersOnline products is accurate, and while the product is supplied in good faith GasMattersOnline will not accept liability for any consequences of reliance on such data for any purpose whatsoever.
Also, you agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend GasMattersOnline from any claims and expenses arising from any breach by you of this agreement or from any use you make of the data contained any of the GasMattersOnline products.
- b) Software
While every care has been taken in the production of the software contained in GasMattersOnline, GasMattersOnline will not accept liability and offers no warranty as to its use or performance except as required by existing legislation in the country of use. GasMattersOnline’s total liability shall be restricted in all circumstances to the refunding of licence fees paid by the customer. GasMattersOnline accepts no liability for consequential or incidental damage arising from use of the product.
Termination
This agreement is valid for the 12 months for which you have paid the fee. Should you decide not to extend the agreement at the end of that year, then the agreement will terminate and GasMattersOnline will remove access. Following termination of the agreement the distribution restrictions, secure storage requirements and copyright and attribution provisions will remain in force for a further twenty four months.
Copyright
Copyright and ownership of the intellectual property of the structure, programming and data contained in the product(s) belongs to Gas Matters Limited, the parent of GasMattersOnline, except for Microsoft programmes whose copyright belongs to Microsoft Corp and the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, copyright which belongs to Adobe Systems Incorporated. It is your responsibility to ensure that all the relevant licensing provisions set out by Microsoft Corp. and Adobe Systems Incorporated are fully met. Data Protection
The personal data information provided by you will be held on a database and may be shared with companies within the Gas Strategies Group Limited.
Sometimes details may be made available to external companies for marketing purposes. We may export personal data to jurisdictions which do not offer the same level of protection for personal data as the European Union If you do not wish your details to be used for this purpose, please contact us.
