GSO Pricing

European Supply & Demand Service (ESD)

The ESD service covers the original EU25 plus Switzerland, Bulgaria and Romania, and provides clients with access to our unique database of supply and demand information, and infrastructure maps.

For each country, long-term supply contracts with volumes by supplier, historical analysis of natural gas demand, and projected demand for high, low and mid case demand scenarios are available. Model supply & demand across the EU 25 and beyond. ESD incorporates the ability to:

• View all existing international gas contracts
• Model utilisation of key infrastructures
• Modify assumptions that drive gas demand forecasts
• Visualise gas infrastructures, contracted cross-border flows and capacity with a series of proprietary maps

£6,000 per licence per year - allowing 3 individual user log-ins.

European Pricing Services (EPS)

Gas Matters gas border price series are not simply based on OTC or traded prices but are calculated from historical and projected oil and oil product price drivers, using models which mimic long-term contract price formulae. The accuracy of these models is tested and calibrated in the market, and the development of long-term contract prices through the release of reliable public and industry sources is regularly incorporated. Projected international and end user oil product prices are similarly calculated using refinery economics and market models. We also monitor and contrast market traded prices and futures/forward curves.

Our pricing services provide market analysis and historical and projected crude oil, oil product, natural gas and LNG prices, at end user and wholesale/border level for five different oil price scenarios, currently covering ten major European markets. These are models, not simply tables and with a built-in degree of interactivity.

EPS offers:

  • Unrivalled depth of industry knowledge
  • View forecasts of border and end-user prices for ten major European gas nations
  •   A consistent series of historical pricing data
  • Delivered price data for large users including transport and taxes
  • Instantaneous unit conversion
