John Elkins – Associate Editor
  • John is currently Associate Editor for ‘Gas Matters’
  • John is Course Director for the successful week-long course for those new to the gas industry – 'The Gas Chain' - run by Alphatania.
  • John brings 30 years experience with British Gas in a variety of planning and forecasting roles, specialising in supply-demand matching and winter demand analysis.
  • John has also been involved in a number of British and international consultancy projects with Gas Strategies Consulting, concentrating on load factor and demand analysis.
 

James Ball – Chief Mentor
  • James Ball is the Publisher of ‘Gas Matters Today’, ‘Gas Matters’ and ‘LNG Focus’.
  • James Ball is an internationally respected advisor on natural gas policy and strategy. He is President and Chief Mentor of Gas Strategies Group Ltd.  He has acted as personal advisor to key leaders and organisations in gas and LNG world wide for the last 20 years. 
  • James is actively involved in the leadership and delivery of business strategy, development and change implementation projects in leading gas and LNG organisations throughout the world.
  • In February 2005, James was made a Companion of the Institute of Gas Engineers & Managers an honour bestowed on “distinguished persons” in the gas industry.
 
 
 
Neisha Pulling – Editor
  • Neisha is currently on maternity leave.
  • Neisha joined Gas Matters in May 2006.
  • Her areas of interest include Russia, Eastern Europe and Africa.
  • Before joining Gas Matters Neisha worked as a writer for business risk consultancy Control Risks Group, producing briefings on political and security developments worldwide and their impact on business personnel.
Matthew Shelton – Subscriptions Co-ordinator
  • Matt joined Gas Matters in March 2006.
  • Matt is responsible for subscription management for all publications, data and information services offered by Gas Matters.
  • Matt develops renewals with existing subscribers and seeks to introduce our services to new and potential customers.
  • Matt has a banking background having worked in customer, corporate and back office roles.
